Young Fives Teacher:
Ms. Stephanie Mileshko holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with experience teaching second grade, having taught in an elementary school for four years before joining BUMP.
Ms. Kristen Saulinskas also holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and is in her fifth year at BUMP.
Ms. Amie Jones holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and is in her third year at BUMP.
Three Year Old Teachers:
Ms. Lacy Abbasi holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and is in her fourth year at BUMP. She is a ten year veteran in the teaching field, having taught children in kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. She also has experience working with children with special needs.
Ms. Carolyn Shillcutt is a certified teacher and has experience in teaching preschool; she is in her second year at BUMP and teaches three-day threes.
Ms. Sara Skeen is in her second year at BUMP and teaches five day threes. She has worked with special needs children and adults over the past fifteen years and is trained in education.
Two Year Old Teachers:
Ms. Angela Chirello is experienced with teaching two year olds and is in her fifth year at BUMP.
Ms. Erica Ainsworth is in her second year at BUMP as the music and twos teacher; she is experienced in early childhood and has had training in the Montessori method.
Young Two's Teacher:
Ms. Diana Garcia is experienced in child-care and is trained in art. She is in her third year as the toddler teacher at BUMP.
Ms. Stacy York is teaching science and math for the fifth year. Ms. Stacy holds a masters in special education and is experienced in special education.
Ms. Jaime McLemore teaches chapel class and serves as the BUMP librarian. She has a masters in library science and is also the Children's Minister at Bascomb UMC.
Ms. Kathi Underwood is also a certified teacher with twelve years experience in the teaching field. She has served as the BUMP director for nineteen years and also worked as a teacher for twos and fours for ten years.
**All BUMP teachers and staff members are trained in CPR and first aid. Teachers are also required to have ten hours in Bright from the Start training each year. All staff members must undergo background checks.**
Each of the teachers, including the director, have children who have attended or are attending the BUMP program.
The following staff members also bring their experience to BUMP:
Ms. Ann Farmer is the office manager and has worked at BUMP for the past nineteen years.
Ms. Karman Skeens is in her second year as the floor manager and previously worked as a teacher at BUMP for three years.
Ms. Joan Brown has worked as an assistant for nineteen years.
Ms. Katrina Barrett, Ms. Carmel McKoy, and Ms. Lara Webb also serve as teaching assistants.
